STRONG DEMAND FOR TWO BAYS FARM FOALS AT GREAT SOUTHERN SALE

SHARE

Two Bays Farm sold all six foals taken to the Inglis 2015 Great Southern Sale, with some astute buyers picking up our youngsters.

The top seller was a Smart Missile/Emma Princess colt that sold for $85,000 to Three Bridges Thoroughbreds through Paul Willetts Bloodstock. Paul Willetts also snapped up a Helmet/Kermis colt for $47,000 while Sheamus Mills Bloodstock bought a Lope de Vega/Light Tactic (USA) colt for $38,000, Hyde Park Bloodstock bought a Hinchibrook/Table Mesa (USA) colt for $28,000 and Peter Ford Thoroughbreds picked up a Denman/Electric Current filly for $30,000.

Two Bays Farm achieved an average of $45,600 in the select session, relative to an overall average of $23,392.

We were really pleased to see our sixth foal, a Wanted/Tonic filly, go to Kirin Park, the home of Tonic’s strapper during her racing days.

Thank you to all the purchasers of our horses. We wish you the best of luck with them.

TWO BAYS FARM SENDS FOUR YEARLINGS TO INGLIS PREMIER SALE

SHARE

Two Bays Farm will present four yearlings at the 2015 Inglis Premier Yearling Sale at Oaklands, Melbourne in March.

Lot 19 is a Mossman colt,  the first foal by multi-city winning Canny Lad mare, Annlea. This successful cross brought the multiple Group 1 winner Ofcourseican and we believe this colt has all the hallmarks of a good runner too.

Lot 139 is a Wanted colt and another first foal, this time of   Emma Princess, a speedy stakes performed Invincible Spirit mare.  Emma Princess won several city races and has done a great job with this colt.  Like his dam, he’s set to run early.

Lot 165 is by dual Group 1 winning sire Star Witness and the first live foal of Danzero mare, For The Girls. This colt was born looking like a race horse and has gone on with it since.

Lot 555 is a bay filly by Wanted and Table Mesa (USA), a Royal Academy mare by a son of Red Ransom. She is a five-times stakes performed mare who won as a 2 year old.
